Fall picture books the whole family will love
Grab a cup of cider, bring out the flannel and curl up with a good picture book. Fall has returned, and with it I am bringing you a few of my favorite picture books for the season.

If you like Miss Rumphius, you will love this fall themed book about Miss Maple and all the care she takes of the seeds.
Because of an Acorn by Lola and Adam Schaefer and Frann Preston-Gannon
Kids will learn about the ecosystem and the big impact of a little acorn as you enjoy the gorgeous illustrations in this book.
Bear Has a Story to Tell by Philip C. Stead and Erin E. Stead
This story is adorable and the pace is so peaceful. Follow along with Bear as he visits his friends and tries to find someone to tell his story to.
Apple Cake: A Gratitude by Dawn Casey and Genevieve Godbout
This is a rhyming picture book, so it’s a great way to practice that skill! The little girl lists all the things in nature she is grateful for, and eventually has enough ingredients for a delicious apple cake. It might even inspire you outside for your own nature walk, exploring all of God’s wonderful creation!
Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak
